    Console and Sustain

    Pope Francis caught the world by surprise at the end of his General Audience yesterday morning when he requested prayers for his predecessor, Pope Emeritus Benedict, whom the Holy Father described as being “very ill”. A little while later, the Pope’s official Twitter account posted – Let us pray together for Pope Emeritus Benedict who is supporting the Church in silence.
